Welcome to the Union Mine Jr. Rattlers! UMJR is an non-profit youth sports organization that provides our local youth the opportunity to participate in FOOTBALL and CHEER. No sports experience is necessary to join our teams, as our coaches are dedicated to safely teaching necessary skills and encouraging self-confidence in each athlete.
UMJR coaches and board members participate in year-round safety and skills training, and are committed to bringing out the best in your child. We focus on instilling core values, including HONESTY, RESPECT, SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAMWORK, DISCIPLINE, INTEGRITY, LEADERSHIP and COMMITMENT. We believe that these traits are not only an important focus in youth sports, but they help develop the skills needed to become productive, responsible, and community-minded young adults.
