May 26th Football & Cheer Clinic - Spring 2026

Join the Union Mine Jr. Diamondbacks for a fun and energetic Football & Cheer Clinic! This one-night clinic is a great opportunity for athletes to get active, learn new skills, and connect with teammates ahead of the upcoming season.

Participants will receive instruction in both football fundamentals and cheer basics in a supportive and engaging environment. Whether you're new or returning, this clinic is perfect for building confidence, improving skills, and getting excited for the season. It’s also a great chance to give football or cheer a try if you’re curious and want to see if it’s the right fit for you!

Date: May 26th
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Union Mine Field

Divisions: Mascot, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U

Cost: $5 per participant

UMHS Cheer Clinic - Spring 2026

Join us for the Union Mine High School Youth Cheer Clinic! This exciting 4-day clinic is the perfect opportunity for young athletes to build skills, boost confidence, and get ready for the upcoming cheer season. This clinic is open to anyone ages 3-13 and you do not need to be registered for the Jr Dback cheer progam. 

Participants will work directly with Union Mine High School cheerleaders and coaching staff, who will lead instruction in cheers, stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dance. Whether you're new to cheer or looking to sharpen your technique, this clinic offers a fun and supportive environment to learn and grow.

Dates: June 4th, 5th, 10th, and 11th
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: Union Mine High School Football Field

Cost:
$15 per day or $50 for all 4 days

This clinic is a great way to sharpen your skills before the season starts while connecting with high school athletes and building team spirit.

Please note: This event is not hosted by the Union Mine Jr. Diamondbacks. All proceeds directly support the Union Mine High School Cheer program.

UM Jr Diamondback Football - Summer 2026

Union Mine Jr Diamondback tackle football for ages 5-14. Limited spots are available for each team and teams are subject to fill up before registration closes. Players are required to be enrolled in their proper age group. Official start of season is July

Sign up early and save! Price goes up every month. Minimum amount due at time of registration is $125. Payment plans are available for early registration only. 

A check of $200 per child is due the first week of practice (July). If the volunteer hours are met your check will be returned at the end of the season if volunteer hours are not met the check will be cashed. Please note your check will be held until the end of the season and only cashed if volunteer hours are not met. 

Required volunteer hours: 10 hours per child with a maximum of 20 hours per family. 

UM Jr Diamondbacks Cheer - New Uniform - Summer 2026

Returning cheerleaders who do not need a new uniform please see returner registration. 

Cost Breakdown: 

• Uniform package: $340
• Practice set: $40
• Comp fees & operational fees: $250
• Total: $600

Uniform package: shell, liner, skirt, briefs, bow, poms, shoes, socks

Union Mine Jr Diamondback sideline cheer for ages 5-14 (see registration option below for Mascot). Players are required to be enrolled in their proper age group. Official start of season is July. In this sideline cheer program cheerleaders will cheer for home and away football games, preform a halftime, and compete in a minimum of 2 competitions each season. We plan on offering a high-level competitive team following the sideline season pending interest from parents. Try outs may be required to join the competitive team due to the advanced level.

New cheerleaders or girls who need a new uniform please see new cheerleader registration.

Returner package: updated shell, briefs, bow, poms, shoes, socks

Mascot Cheer - Summer 2026

Mascot Cheer Program

This is a introductory cheer experience designed for future cheerleaders between the ages of 3-4. Mascots receive the full cheer uniform package and participate in sideline cheering alongside our 8U cheerleaders during games and preform a routine at home games. Mascots do not participate in cheer competitions. Practices are held just one day per week during the cheer season.
